Celebration in Latvian style

It took me so much time to get this layout done. Ahrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh times many hours. I wanted this layout to capture emotions from our crazy Latvian wedding celebration that took place last October.

Just imagine to have two days of celebration filled with games, tasks, singing, dancing, appearance of breakdancing bear and Russian gypsies, and so much more. We had so much fun! At the end we were so tired, that when we went to sleep (and we were the first ones to go at 3 am in the morning!!!) my husband didn't notice that he spent whole night lying on pebbles (a 'gift' from our relatives!)....

Ahh yes.. So I tried to capture all these sparks of emotions in this layout. I'm not sure if I will ever be able to make a scrapbooking album about our wedding... if I will do, I will be a champion!!

P.S. The text says: "That's how we celebrate weddings in Latvia!"

It's cold in Sydney

Autumn seems to be a period when nature puts everything on hold. Feels like - let's see what will happen. Our trip to Sydney this time sadly was a cold one.

I missed the city lights and working nights, fights for an existence in a corporate world. Weather was gloomy and cold. Though it's autumn. And trees change their color, which is always nice.
And it's always comforting to watch movies under thousand blankets, sipping hot tea and laughing together with friends.

Autumn in country

It is always lovely to drive outside a town and catch an inspiration in a countryside. This time it was a very special weekend. We left our house to find some wonderful views and horses that were not scared of our presence.
Isn't it inspirational and cute?
