Self indulging Mom's day

On the lovely Sunday morning we decided to go 4wd(fourwheeldriving). Because I was recently sick, I promised not to hug or kiss anyone and to sit in the car most of the adventure. But it turned out that the weather was great, the sun was shinning, and I couldn't resist to go for some walks and, of course, talk some talks.

At the beginning of the trip we accidentally noticed a sign of "Flame Hill vineyard" (our adventure took place in Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Australia). We decided to show this wonderful place to our friends, and to our surprise we found out that it happened to be on Mother's day! Even more exciting we found out that my husband's sister was singing jazz in the vineyard's restaurant.

So we decided to get coffee, indulge ourselves into lovely atmosphere and have a wonderful dessert. What a nice surprise! Our mothers were far away - two in Europe, the third in Western Australia, but the fourth somewhere in Latin America, so we had no guilt to celebrate Mothers day just by ourselves.

Later on we followed some tracks near Lake Baroon Pocket Dam, some of us searched for some hidden treasures and found them (I will write later more about this "hidden treasure thing"), I took some photos. We finished our day with hot wedges from Penny Farthing pub, overlooking wonderful scenery of Montville.

The day turned out to be awesome. My only advice is: if you are still kinda sick, don't got to adventures like this. Today I'm again at home with my sore throat :))

Belated Easter wishes

Some of my friends received a nice card from me wishing them a happy spring. I know that Northern Hemisphere is enjoying warm spring days... Me the opposite - I enjoy a bit colder weather in Australia, colder mornings and colder nights. Anyways. I was running late with Easter postcards therefore my friends received this version of belated wishes!

I used Chelsea Parsons digital kit "Beautifully Grungy Garden Again" from wwww.twopeasinabucket.com online shop.

A Video that inspires me

One of my friends posted this video in a social networking site. I checked it out, and instantly fell in love with it. I think some day it will inspire me to create something similar... a story in billions of photos...
